Qualifications
Our patent attorneys have all been accredited before the European and German Patent and Trademark Office and have many years of professional experience. Furthermore, Dr. Prop has been accredited with the patent attorney qualification for the Netherlands and is authorized to represent before the Benelux Trademark Office.
In addition to German, all employers are very familiar with the English language. Some employees also have knowledge of French, Dutch and Spanish.
Responsibilities
All areas of intellectual property protection are covered by us, in particular patents, utility models, design patents, employee inventors’ rights, trademarks, cooperation agreements, licence agreements, copyrights, as well as unfair competition.
We have at our disposal extensive experience in inland and foreign grant, opposition, appeal, nullity and infringement procedures.
Technical Focal Points
Our technical focal points are the fields of chemistry, pharmacology, biology, gene technology, physics and engineering.
Clients
Our clients include companies which operate worldwide as well as inland, also medium-sized and small businesses as well as individual inventors.
We place much importance on personal contact with our clients – however near or far away, or whatever status as we believe that this is the best way to optimize occupational and business success for all concerned.
Internationality
About 50 % of our clients are abroad, in particular in Japan and the United States. Thus, at least half of our correspondence is in English. Whenever necessary, we also use French.
We have communicating attorneys worldwide at our disposal, with whom we have worked with for many decades. We have personal meetings with them regularly, in order to keep up-to-date on national legal developments.
Employees
At present, Dr. Neidlein, Mr. Gille, Dr. Struck, Dr. Prop, Dr. Roos, Mr. von Lettow-Vorbeck and Dr. Bröcher are the core of the practice. Furthermore, Patent Experts Mrs. Klemm, Dr. Heide and Mr. Choi also work for us.
About 15 further people are regularly employed in the office. In addition translators, researchers and technical draft persons with many years’ experience at the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich have been working for us for many years.
