Martina Klemm studied food chemistry at the Institute for Biochemistry and Food Chemistry at Hamburg University. She completed her studies in 2001 with a degree in food chemistry awarded for a thesis in environmental analytical chemistry.
In 2002, she passed the Second State Examination in Food Chemistry in Hamburg, thus obtaining the title of Graduate Food Chemist.

Ms. Klemm has been working in the field of Intellectual Property since 2002.
She first worked as the Head of the Patents and Intellectual Property Department of a medium-sized company active in the development and production of cosmetic, tissue engineering and medical products.
Ms. Klemm has been working in our firm since 2008.
In 2010 she was admitted to practice as representative before the European Patent Office.
Ms. Klemm is finishing her training to become a patent attorney as well as her studies in General Law for Patent Attorneys at the Fern-Universität in Hagen.
Apart from food chemistry, the focus of Ms. Klemm's work includes all areas of general chemistry, analytical chemistry, polymer chemistry, the cosmetics and pharmaceutical chemistry as well as the areas of tissue engineering and life science.
