In 2011, she completed her doctorate at the University of Duisburg-Essen with a thesis in the field of polymer chemistry on “switchable and biocidal antibiofouling coatings based on functional block and graft copolymers with defined architecture”.
Currently, Dr. Berndt is trained in Intellectual Property in our firm and studies General Law for Patent Attorneys at the Fern-Universität Hagen.
Apart from general chemistry, the technical focus of Dr. Berndt’s work includes chemical engineering, polymer chemistry and membrane technology.
